It's evolving, but not in a good way for the Zero's, The Buster desktop will not run either Chrome or Firefox in 64 bit, it seems to run out of memory, and seems to be in an endless swap cycle with the SD card, The Pi Zero W can barely run the Firefox in 32bit while Chrome is disabled from starting, On 32bit the Zero 2w will run the browser slightly better until you try a video. I'm not sure about Bookworm, but It's not likely better. So for the Zero2 the future looks bleak as for a desktop, unless just programming for headless. I plan to try Bookworm for the heck of it, and see.
