Python • Trouble Installing AWSwrangler on Pi 4

Hello, All.

As the title suggests, I'm having trouble installing awswrangler on my Pi 4 (Raspbian 10 - Buster). I tried a few things, such as updating and upgrading my Pi, but the installation keeps getting stuck.

It doesn't seem to matter if I use PIP or PIP3, I keep getting stuck at:
Building wheel for numpy (pyproject.toml)...
I'm not receiving any errors, it just spins there (been 20 minutes now). I've tried updating both PIP and PIP3 to no avail. I've also installed numpy, which seems to be up-to-date.

I saw in the AWSwrangler documenation that apparently Python needs to be upgraded to 3.8+ work and I have 3.7 :(

I've tried upgrading to Python3.13 and 3.11 but it doesn't take. I hoping that if I can upgrade Python3, it'll work, but I can't even get that to work. I tried doing a manual install following this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj7NhuL ... oubleChute

But that didn't work either and I'm not sure why. I received no errors. NOTE: I followed the video and changed my install to 3.13.2 which I understand to be the latest stable version of Python3.

I'm open to any and all suggestions at this time.

Best, Joe
