My daughter has managed, with a bit of help, to create her first quantum computing program using qiskit. Remarkably, it works! However, she wishes to indicate the alive or dead Schrodinger's cat via LEDs powered from the GPIO pins on her Raspberry Pi 2 W. Unfortunately qiskit has to be installed in a virtual environment (.venv) and the GPIO pins show no signs of life. I/She has installed everything in the venv that documentation suggests (gpiozero, RPi.GPIO etc) but nothing to do with the LEDs or buttons work. Clearly we are missing something, any ideas what it could be?
It's a bare zero with no login password on boot, so I assume she is su by default.
