I'm finding the apps slow down and become unresponsive after some continuous use . This doesn't seem to happen on a linux (kubuntu) desktop, and I don't see any obvious memory leak. I.e. the app doesn't appear to use more ram but resources are clearly being used.
Theoretically, your desktop has significantly more resources. You could try increasing the swap on your RPi? If you wrote the code, maybe double-check for things like recursions (infinite loops).
