I would also like to report this problem.

GPIO.wait_for_edge has historically worked in Python on 32 bit and 64 bit versions. I can replicate this run time error on Raspberry Pi Zeros:

Python 3.11.2
6.6.28+rpt-rpi-v8 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.6.28-1+rpt1 (2024-04-22) aarch64 GNU/Linux

The issue is not present on:

Python 3.9.2
6.1.21+ #1642 Mon Apr 3 17:19:14 BST 2023 armv6l GNU/Linux
