Well next time I take the pill tray off I'll take a picture of the bottom. But in the meantime a question would be should I redo the project in Python to run with the raspberry pi or should I keep it in Arduino and use an ESP 32? I ran out of GPIO on the ESP32. But I can't find the data sheet on the exact u shaped encoder. Can someone give me some code to help me find the pins for the encoders. Which one's ground and which ones power also. I don't have an oscilloscope. My voltmeter is not working properly either. The only problem I'm running into now is getting the pill tray to move correctly according to the cup that is selected. I think it has 10 or 12 cups that hold pills. My next problem will be getting it to the Spence the correct pill. I know this may be over my head but it's something that I want to get working. If raspberry pi is the way to go I would also need some guidance on how to set it up so that way it connects to Wi-Fi a mobile app and a touch screen that would probably eliminate the need for buttons right? I just can't upload the pictures of the mainboard they're too big and don't know how to shrink them? Do I need to reverse engineer the main board since I accidentally sorted out what I think is a must set. Up into this point I've been using chat GPT to help me write the code in Arduino.
The two links that I posted below should give more detail. I think there's a pressure sensor switch on the pump that sucks the pill up. Right now I'm having trouble setting my pills up correctly and it cost $44 a month for the machine right now for 48 months no not willing to make that commitment.
All I need is the machine to pick up a pill from the correct cup and dispense it then I will have chat GPT help me with an interface. I would like to be able to set up a network for it to connect to and allow me to enter the pills be of a cell phone or app and set up a time for each pill to be dispensed and how many pills should be simple enough right? When the machine is not in use make the screen go to sleep. Also one other thing set up an alarm for each time I got to take pills. I found a pill machine on the internet that might do what I need but don't have the resources to 3D print it or the money to buy the parts. I would like to take a pre-made off-the-shelf product and basically reverse engineering for my exact use.
When adding the pills to the pill list I'd like each individual pill to search the internet and show me a picture of the pills if that's not too hard to do.
