The way this will be used is that I will have a PIR sensor monitoring my workbench and desk at work. Our shop is a large open area and it is not uncommon for others to "borrow" tools. We are not allowed to lock tools up. This will be set up to send me a message whenever someone is detected near my bench.
I might also have this turn on some kind of light in the area to indicate that an intruder has been detected. Maybe an array of flashing red and blue LEDs and a siren sound would be appropriate!
Being able to schedule this will allow me to have this active only outside of my scheduled work hours.
